Telemedicine through High-Speed Broadband

Many students. Three cities. One surgery. A bariatric surgical procedure to help a patient to reduce weight at Flinders Medical Centre in South Australia was beamed live via Internet2 to Kyushu University Hospital staff in Fukuoka, Japan and NUS staff in the CIT Auditorium. This was the first time that the three countries were connected for teleconferencing by high-speed broadband instead of ISDN lines.

IVLE

Version 7.7 New Features

CIT upgraded IVLE to Version 7.7 during the semester break. This article features three new and important developments in 7.7: Module Website management integration, NETg online course integration and the introduction of My Communities for staff.
