Interview with Dr Joe PETERS | Synopsis

With the rapid development of technology and the mergine of audio visual and IT in education, it is time to think about major issues brewing from the confluence of the professional practice in these two areas. Dr. Joe Peters from the National University of Singapore speaks about major implications for pedagogy, facility design and staff re-training in these areas.

The Communications and New Media Programme at the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences will be holding an eLearning Week next semester. Scheduled to take place from 18 February 2008 to 22 February 2008, this initiative aims to familiarise staff and students with various eLearning tools and improve the University's ability to function in a quarantine situation. CIT staff are currently working with CNM teaching staff to gear up for this groundbreaking project.
