CIT received the ISO certification after the team put in place a management infrastructure for quality that ensures consistency, and provides means for continual improvement...In keeping with the improved management system, the team conducted implementation and awareness training for CIT staff on the importance of ISO certification, and how it would help them. It took a year of toiling on the project before CIT was awarded the certification.

* For the sake of accuracy, the title has been quoted verbatim. However, it should read "ISO 9001:2000 certified". The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) merely defines the standards; the organization does not perform audits leading to certification.
